The association Samaria (Italian: Samaria APS) supports projects, actions of liberation and solidarity, cultural and spiritual commitments and all the initiatives that contribute to overcome every form of discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity in the society and in the Christian churches.
Samaria is incorporated as association (Samaria APS) and it’s open to evolve towards new juridical and organizational forms in the future. The association Samaria APS is a charity of Christian inspiration, of ecumenical vocation and aimed to accomplish a humanitarian mission of cooperation between Christians, other believers, faith-challenged, non believers. It focuses its actions on local projects in Italy and also brings help to people living their own diversity in the rest of Europe and in the Mediterranean countries.
The association Samaria APS promotes solidarity and acknowledges the high value of commitment of individuals and groups that operated and still operate to overcome every form of discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity in the society and Christian churches. Under this foreword, it promotes and sustains projects organized by the people and groups with which it’s connected. In doing so, it stays independent from every other political, social, economic and Church body and it doesn’t interfere in the mission of organizations that it will sustain.
